Upon re-reading this one shot, this scene is probably the one I'm unhappiest with.
Though this is the one critique I expected to hear but never did; they're too relaxed and unphased by the life and death battle just moments earlier. It's actually intentional, but it'd make more sense in the longer version of the story with the training/upbringing they've had in the organisation that accustoms them to such life and death situations, but it doesn't make sense in this short version without that back story - one I don't have time or pages for.
Oh well...
There's hundreds of other mistakes in this one shot.
Panel 5 really needs to be told in more than just one picture. And I really wish I have more pages to tell their sweet love story. Then again, it still works leaving it as a mystery, so I did. Less is more, and this instance, it works.
